dr. pepper vs. pibb phd. although that looks a little spitty, shmickt. what's this crap on my claws? oh, i'm sorry , it's y'alls' blood. my bad. don't worry, you're healing factor will take . . . what? you dont '. . . oh shit, dude, i'm sorry. oh, shit, i'm sorry.
sorry; i got a little off-topic for a moment there. i cast my vote for dr. strange. that crazy magic of his fills in the gaps where brainiac's science fails to tread.
Magic VS Science. Stevie's powers are useless against machinery, so I'm going with Brainiac.
I do however, think that Strangelove by Depeche Mode would be enough to make anybody (be they machine or magician), crumble underneath the weight of the emotional up and downs of said song.
Oh wait. Brainiac doesn't have emotions. Um, maybe he would find the keyboard stylings of Mr.Martin Gore very admirable and then suffer some kind of overload.
There ya go. Depeche Mode wins. Imagine Martin Gore, in full on gross out dominatrix garb standing over the dismembered parts of Brainiac.
i don't think doctor steve's magic is impotent against machinery. he's fought dr. doom successfully, if i'm not mistaken.
as far as the depeche mode thing goes, the quasi-goth gloom-waves would be easily dissipated by a wistful, midtempo counter-strike from 10,000 Brainiacs.

if any of those dc douchebags can defeat brainiac, then steve can lick him with a few casual hook'em hornses.
